自星期日檔案的港男港女單元播出後, 朋輩之間回響很大, 男男女女怨聲迭起,把日積月累對異性的不滿一股腦兒搬出來. 這邊廂的港男嫌惡港女, 憎其物質主義, 貪慕虛榮, 勢利眼. 那邊廂的港女討厭港男, 不滿其不溫柔, 不細心, 不富有, 不夠紳士風度. 相方各執一詞, 自圓其說, 可說是一場橫跨整個社會的羅生門.

港男港女是相生相克的天敵. 港女愛好名牌, 一身打扮的重點放於那一堆被剪掉的小小價錢牌. 她們幻想自己人憑衣貴, 在LB, 哈蜜瓜, channel等名牌的糖衣包裝下, 化身成高人一等的貴婦, 成為穿上玻璃鞋的公主. 這難道不是正因為港女不相信自己的魅力嗎? 港女們暗自明白自己的天生不足. 脫下了名牌衣的素顏港女只怕都會淪為港男們菜單上的"扒類". 偏偏大眾港男都患上了扒類厭食症. 毒男們愛的是樣靚身材正, 溫柔賢淑, 千依百順的AV小仙女. 塵世女子自然相形見拙. 有姿色, 有學識, 有內涵的女性又怎會接受這種不公平的歧視. 再者, 質素好的女孩子有的是選擇, 自不會選那頭油過盛又帶點汗臭的電車男. 毒男們心中酸葡萄, 對吃不到的港女只有更嗤之以鼻.姿色平庸的港女一面怨恨港男膚追求外表的膚淺, 一面以名牌衣服和濃妝艷抹掩飾自己的自卑.

換一個不同的角度, 你就會發覺這些苦主是不分男女的. 他們的一個共通點就是要求高質素低, 或正如某知名女藝人說的, 他們"很傻, 很天真."

We live in our belief that we believe to be the truth.
However, We exist in the truth which we don't actually know what is like.
Not until a part oft the truth connects to us in incomplete and indirect ways, we recognize these fragments of illusion and build up our belief.
For example, we believe trees are green, and sky is blue. However, color itself is an illusion created in our brain for a certain light-wave.
We, human being, can only connects to the truth incompletely because of our limitation of senses, and brain function.
The tragedy of human being begins when we have to assume our belief to be true in order to operate.
Many philosophers in human history have evaluated this nature of human beings, such as Plate's "allegory of the cave".
It is an prefect example for how human beings handle the conflict between the truth and belief.
Note that, when we acquire new knowledge ,the new "truth" we take into account is just another belief.
Ridicule, Violently reject, and finally accept as self-evident are the common steps for old beliefs to be replaced.
However, to cast doubt on our important belief is not like shining light to darkness.
It is a rather painful process for us to suffer.
The more important the belief is, and the more convincing the conflicting evidence is, the more painful it is to replace such belief.
Because not everyone would like to bear such pain, some people choose to ignore the evidences.
It is perfectly fine if one is isolated.
However, as long as we interact with the world and others, our belief will tend to be shaped and replaced while interacting with the pool of evidence, or you may call "learning".
Such ignorance will only create more conflicts for one and others' belief.
The closer one's belief and the truth is, the less conflict it tends to appear.
Therefore, to ignore evidence of truth is stupid.
